MPLS
MPLS VPNs use Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) to set up Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) that can isolate data traffic to provide Class of Service (CoS), Quality of Service (QoS), and ease network administration with minimal network overhead. Ethernet is the most widely-used data network protocol today. Standardized as IEEE 802.3, the Ethernet protocol is used for local area networks (LANs) at the Layer 1 (Physical Layer) and Layer 2 (Data Link Layer) of the OSI networking model.
